Pets of the Week: Dooby Doo and Betty

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Dooby

Doobey is a Shepherd/Lab mix that is around 8 years old and weighs about 50 pounds. He is a laid-back gentleman with a sweet disposition. He gets along well with other dogs. If you think Dooby sounds like he will do well in your family, stop down and see this handsome man today!

Betty

Here is the lovely Betty, perfectly plump and undoubtedly adorable! Betty is a fantastic companion. She loves being rubbed and petted while cuddling up to you in your lap. She is a very social kitty, friendly to all humans and most other cats. She is not timid at all and loves attention, and she always finds a way to make you want to smile and laugh. Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
