No More Permanent Barrier on Rothrock Road

Fairlawn officials have decided to nix the concrete barrier until the court decides whether it is legal.

The concrete barrier that would block Rothrock Road at Sawgrass Drive starting April 10 has been put on hold, according to the Akron Beacon Journal.

Copley Township officials filed an injunction last Friday against Fairlawn and Mayor William Roth that would stop the barriers from going up, but Roth said nothing will go up until the court deems it legal.
