Letter from the Editor: Changes Coming to Fairlawn-Bath Patch

More videos, a gardening column and local business features coming soon.

Here at Fairlawn-Bath Patch a few changes are coming with the spring – and not just the new spring grass on our homepage.

On Tuesdays, Frugal Family has been replaced with a regular feature that spotlights innovative and interesting local businesses. We’ve got a few in mind to start us off, but we’d like your suggestions too. Email me and we'll check out companies you want to learn more about -- and those you think your neighbors should now about too. Every other Thursday we’ll give you gardening tips and tricks from our own Green Goddess , a local master gardener, award-winning writer and author.

You’ve probably already noticed Patch is producing more video content than ever before. Starting this week we’ll be looking for your two cents for our reader question of the day feature   We also want to stay on top of interesting video features and events that take place in Fairlawn and Bath schools, churches, parks and festivals, so be sure to let us know your favorite by email or call me at 330-515-0550.

To ease you into the work week, we will continue to showcase three fine Patch photographers in our photo features each Monday. In case you haven’t seen one, Viewfinders are photo studies of events and locations, seen through the eyes of our talented Patch photographers , and .  Sommer has been a photojournalist in Ohio, Kentucky and Illinois. Stamp is a commercial freelance photographer and former Beacon Journal photojournalist. Woolf is studying photojournalism and photo illustration at Kent State University.
