Easter Activities in the Area: Hop on Over

We've rounded up a list of Easter activities in the area happening this weekend.

Easter will be celebrated this Sunday, and what's better than spending time with the family, a good meal and an old fashioned Easter egg hunt?

To help you make the best of this holiday weekend, we've rounded up some events happening in the Akron, Fairlawn, Stow, Twinsburg and Cuyahoga Falls area. If you know of an event that's not on this list, please add it to our comments section.

Easter Brunch: Treat the family to a brunch buffet from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Easter Sunday at inside the . Hungry guests can choose from chicken marsala, ham with a pineapple glaze, pasta, salmon, roasted potatoes, steamed veggies, spinach souffle, prime rib, scrambled eggs, shrimp, salads and more. Bring a camera to capture a moment with the Easter bunny! The cost is $22.95 for adults and $11.95 for children 4 to 10. Make reservations by calling 330-867-5218.

Hudson Egg Hunt: The Easter bunny will hide eggs in the LifeCenter Plus pool, 5133 Darrow Road, Hudson, during the Aqua Easter Egg Hunt in Hudson. The event takes place from 11 to 12:45 p.m. on April 6. Children ages 2 to 6 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool. Call Laura Coon at 330-655-2377 with questions.

An Easter egg hunt with an explanation of Easter. Children of all ages welcome to  1407 Fairchild Ave., Kent from 11 a.m. to noon. Call 330-678-7000 for more information.

Cuyahoga Falls Egg Hunt: The will host an Easter egg hunt on the church lawn and a free lunch at Keyser Park on Saturday from 11 to 2 p.m.

20,000 Eggs: The Hope Community Church, 3033 Middleton Road, Hudson, has 20,000 candy-filled Easter eggs for your kids to find. The event takes place on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. There will be free lunch for the family.

Face painting: Make your way to the egg hunt at Heart 4 the City, 954 Eastland Ave., Akron, on April 7 at 4:30 p.m. for face painting, egg hunting and more.

Botanical Bunnies: OK, this one isn't in the Akron area, but it sounded too cool to pass up. Head to the Cleveland Botanical Garden on April 7 from 10:30 a.m. to noon to enjoy an egg hunt, crafts, games, stories and a photo with the Easter Bunny. The cost is $10 for member children, $15 for non-member children. Adult members are free, adult non-members are $9.50. Call 216-721-1600 ext. 100 to make reservations.

Mansion Hunt: Bring the kids to Stan Hywet's annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Visit with the Easter Bunny and his friends and walk around the grounds. Tickets can be purchased here.
