'Ducie' Impressive in Copley Victory Over JFK

Copley's Aregeros Turner, coming off an injury, leads the Indians to a season opening win over Cleveland JFK.

One of the question marks coming into the 2012 season for the Copley Indians was whether or not Aregeros "Ducie" Turner would be 100 percent healthy.

With a five-touchdown performance in last Friday's 55 to 22 victory over Cleveland JFK, the senior running back turned the question mark into an exclamation mark - Ducie is back.  Four of his touchdowns came on the ground and one through the air on a 28-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback John Kromalic.  Turner started the season by rushing for 114 yards.

Turner, who has been a starter his entire high school football career, broke a shin bone in last year's game against Suburban League Rival, Green, and was out for the remainder of the season.  He is being recruited by a number of major college programs, including Tennessee, Oregon, West Virginia, Ohio State and Illinois, but has yet to announce a commitment.
