Ohio Burger Company Coming to Summit Mall

Ohio Burger Company specializes in single, double and triple burgers made of Ohio beef.

Eating local just got easier, especially if you love burgers.

The Ohio Burger Company, which specializes in single, double and triple burgers, made of 100 percent Ohio beef, will open in the Food Court on April 1.

Owned by Ray Benne, who also owned the state's first Internet sweepstakes cafe in Bedford, the restaurant will offer more than 20 toppings for your burger and fresh cut fries, onion rings, loaded fries and more.

Benne hopes to expand the company to six other locations in three years.

"We’re all about being green and local," Benne said.  "Our burgers will be made of 100 percent beef raised within 30 miles of our location.  We will also locally-source our ingredients as much as possible, such as onion rings from Garfield Heights. Quality is key."

And in an effort to go green, all packaging used in the restaurant will be made from recycled material or be recyclable.

Benne is looking to hire 10 part-time employees to work approximately 30 hours per week. Applications are available here.

"Come see us on April 1," Benne said. "You know you want one!"
