La Daisy Boutique Caters to the Fashion Savvy

La Daisy Boutique opened on Sept. 1 but the grand opening is Sept. 15.

owner Michelle Rapoza has always wanted to own a clothing store, and she liked the personal touches of boutiques. When she fell in love with Bath Township, her dream came true.

The boutique, next to the , features a variety of women's consignment clothing from size 4 to 6X. Rapoza also offers jewelry, purses, shoes, toiletries and more.

Rapoza lives in Cleveland Heights, but is looking to relocate to the Bath Township area.

"I love the personal touches in boutiques," Rapoza smiled. "I enjoy talking with people and that's a real benefit for me."

Anyone can turn in gently used casual or career clothing in any size, except children's. If the item sells in 60 days, the original owner gets 50 percent of the cost. If it doesn't sell in 60 days, it's marked down to 25 percent off. After 10 days, the original owner has the option to either start over at full price or allow Rapoza to donate it to a local charity.

"My personal touch is the pampering items I offer," Rapoza said. "Not a lot of consignment shops offer that."

Rapoza is also looking for local crafters and artisans to sell in the shop. She'll accept jewelry, purses, clothing, soaps and more.
