Davey Tree Promotes Scott Deevers to VP Position

Deevers will serve at the Kent headquarters

The Davey Tree Expert Company has promoted Scott Deevers to vice president of
northern operations in its utility services division.

Deevers, a Streetsboro resident, started his Davey career in 1993 in the accounting department and moved into utility services in 1996, undertaking roles in both the administrative and operational side. He most recently worked as vice president for eastern operations for the utility services division.

Deevers is a graduate of Miami University, and he is a member of the Utility Arborists Association and is a former member of Davey’s President’s Council. He will continue working at the Kent headquarters.

The Davey Company, with U.S. and Canadian operations in 45 states and five provinces, provides a variety of tree services, grounds maintenance, and consulting services for the residential, utility, commercial and government markets. Founded in 1880, Davey is employee-owned and has more than 7,000 employees.
