Travelling? Let the Library Help You Plan Your Next Vacation!

Travelling or thinking about vacation? The library has many current travel guides and books to help you plan - or dream - about your next vacation! Stop in. We can help!

Planning a vacation?  Just want to dream about exotic locales as the temperatures hover around freezing?  Our travel section is the perfect destination!

Many families and travellers have to do so on a shoestring budget, which requires smart planning and a little research.  Why spend your money on travel books that you are going to use once and then never again?  We have many of the latest and greatest travel guides from Fodor’s, Frommer’s, Lonely Planet, National Geographic and others.  Get all of the latest and greatest information, and use every dime that you saved toward your vacation on your actual trip.

Worried about borrowing a book because you’ll be gone longer than 2 weeks?  No problem!  Simply let us know when you approach the desk that you are going to be away on vacation and would like a 4 week loan.  As long as nobody is waiting on that particular book, we can give you an extended loan so you can take it with you worry free.  If you stop in with a few days to spare before you leave and we do not have what you are looking for, we can order something from our main library for you and have it here in 2-4 days.

Our travel section has coffee table books with many full color photos of exotic locations, “hidden” travel guides so that you can see places off the beaten path, and much more.  Whether you want a virtual vacation through pictures or you’re heading south to enjoy some fun in the sun, why not stop in and see what we have to offer?  Take us with you on your next trip!
