Felicia Z. Stadelman At Fairlawn-Bath Library This Monday at 6:30pm
Felicia Z. Stadelman, local art historian, will give a presentation on the life of Michelangelo at the Fairlawn-Bath Library Monday, Sep 17, at 6:30pm. All are welcome!
We know our patrons love art, history and biographies. Which is why it was only natural to bring back popular local art historian Felicia Z. Stadelman to put on another program for us from her popular series “Through the Eyes of the Artist.” This coming Monday, join us here at the Fairlawn-Bath Branch Library as Felicia will guide us on a tour through Michelangelo’s life in a way that only she can!
Felicia gives passionate presentations that are enriched with colorful images of works from the artist, as well as many primary source documents including personal letters that really make their stories come to life, and give them a more human quality. When you leave, you really have a great understanding of who he was as an individual, what he accomplished through his amazing works of art (he painted the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel!), and come away with a great sense of the culture as well. You will also receive a colorful notecard momento filled with facts and images from Michelangelo’s distinguished life and career. This is an evening you will NOT want to miss!
Join us Monday evening at 6:30pm for this great program, which is sponsored by the Friends of the Fairlawn-Bath Branch Library. Reservations at 330-666-4888 are recommended, but not required. We hope to see you there!
