VIDEO of the Day: Fairlawn Concert Series

The Stingers played the final concert in the series at Bicentennial Park.

The Stingers are an Akron-based band that includes Bill Brauning (bass), Bill Moriarty (keys), Tom Konopka (drums), Brad Bolton (guitar), John Morton (vocals) and an evolving horn section. The trumpet playing in the video is Mike Fisher.

According to Brauning, the Stingers play Latin jazz and popular smooth jazz covers by artists including: Marc Antoine, Jeff Golub, the Crusaders and Peter White.
