Celebrate Earth Day Every Day

Join naturalists Danette Rushboldt and Meghan Doran for an afternoon of green ideas on April 22 from noon to 4 p.m, at the . The free event includes displays, the chance to make your own recycled bandana and more.

You can recycle April 22 by bringing items from home that naturalists can reuse in future programs: water bottles, 2-liter pop bottles, lids from milk and juice containers, buttons and beads. There will also be opportunities to recycle paper, cell phones and accessories.

All visitors to the Nature Realm during Earth Week, April 21 to 28, receive 15 percent off beautiful Ohio-made recycled glass suncatchers at the gift shop, which offers eco-friendly, recycled and fair-trade items.
