Pets of the Week: JilliMac and Brena

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

JilliMac’s Bio

JilliMac is around 10-12 months old and weighs about 40 pounds. She is fun, silly, goofy, loving and playful. She has a wonderful personality and gets along well with other dogs. 

Brena’s Bio

Brena the tiger kitty tells us she prefers the finer things in life. Once you’re paid up with treats she’ll let you pet her and her attitude transforms into “playful and friendly.” Her hard-to-get approach is deceiving at first because she really enjoys company and wants to interact. 

Adoption Fees:

Dogs and Puppies: $99
Senior dog over 6 years old: $40
Senior to Senior Program - Senior person over 60 adopts a senior dog: $15
Kittens: $75
Cats - over 6 months: $50
Rabbits: $40

Adopters age 60 or older may adopt a dog, 3 years or older or a cat, 5 years or older without paying the adoption fee. Proof of age is required.

All animals are spayed or neutered before leaving the shelter, have received a microchip and have had age-appropriate vaccinations and flea treatment.
