Pets of the Week: Darby and Thad

These homeless animals are ready to join your family.

The Humane Society of Greater Akron  is offering these animals for adoption.

Darby

Darby is a 10-year-old Spaniel mix that weighs about 25 pounds. She arrived to the HSGA after her owner passed and there was no one left to care for her. Even though she is 10 years young, she still likes to play and has a good amount of spunk. She is a sweet and gentle girl who is looking to spend her golden years in a new loving home.

Thad

Thad is a very sweet kitty. He is unfamiliar with being in open spaces and loud noises, but is happy to sit on your lap or let you hold him. Once he gets comfortable, he is curious and will play with you. He also gets along well with other cats, and has even given them kisses.
