Cardboard Box City is designed for young people and families to help raise awareness about the increasing problem of homelessness in our community and to raise funds for Family Promise to continue our mission to help fight homelessness.
Participants will spend the night in a cardboard box symbolizing the conditions experienced by homeless families every night. In 2010, Family Promise of Summit County emergency shelter beds were used 3,944 times.
There will be food, games and prizes and the event will have overnight chaperones.

We encourage all participants to ask family and friends to sponsor their night in Cardboard Box City.
