Bath-Richfield Kiwanis Welcome New Members

7 local residents joined service group in February

 

The Bath-Richfield Kiwanis added several new members in February, with Past Kiwanis International President Alan Penn, current Ohio District Governor Craig Wallace, Lieutenant Governor Jerry Baley and other Kiwanis dignitaries present.

Al Schumann, a 49-year member, recounted the club’s past fundraising follies and successes, and Frank Stuchel was awarded a George F. Hixson Fellowship Award for Distinguished Service.

The club welcomed Barb Baley, Bonnie Binns, Joel Mader, Anita Marks, Mallory Marks, Jared Robertson and William Snow.

The service organization meets for dinner and a speaker at 6 PM on Thursday nights at Fellowship Hall, 3903 Broadview Road in Richfield (historic building with a square tower across from the Post Office).

Guests are always welcome. Sherri Bevan Walsh, Summit County Prosecutor will speak March 7. Mike Ohl from YMCA Camp Y-Noah will speak the following Thursday.

Several members of the Kiwanis Key Club at Revere High School volunteered to help run the Ohio State Special Olympics held at Brandywine Ski Resort on March 6.
