Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show Coming to Fairlawn

Event will run Oct. 19-20 at St. George Fellowship Center

The annual Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show will become a two-day event at St. George’ Fellowship Center, 3204 Ridgewood Rd. in Fairlawn Oct. 19-20.
The show will run 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day.

It will feature an eclectic selection from the area’s most talented artisans and crafters. The upcoming fall show will include nearly 100 artists and crafters selling their original items.

Customers can look forward to handmade jewelry and accessories, hand dipped candles, Ohio pride baby clothes, one of a kind artwork and much more.

Founded in June 2011 by Becki Cooper of Rebecca Adele PR & Events, the Avant-Garde Art & Craft Shows started out as a small show with 45 vendors and has since blossomed into 10 shows a year around Northeast and Central Ohio. Each event attracts 100 vendors.

In addition to supporting local artists and crafters, a portion of the proceeds from this year’s 2013 Summit County Fall Avant-Garde Art & Craft Show will also benefit local animal shelter, Jade’s No Kill Rescue.

Admission to the show is $3, with children under 12 are free. The show will also feature a –a-carte lunch items from TLC Catering with a full bar on site.
