Update for Webinar next week

I will include the details of 3d systems webinar next week. However, this week one of my favorite podcasts discovered 3-d printing. They endorsed the makerbot website. They have a physical store in NYC. The 3-d printed product is selling mixtape, basically a custom thumbdrive. It has proven to be very popular and I hope to buy one for review. It is currently sold out on-line.

How will the consumer version of 3-d printing use commerce as the industry progresses? One way is pop up shops, a market is researched and a location is chosen. With the support of the on-line element As good as brick and mortar to sell wares. Industrial solutions involve a more permanent solution.

This generation of consumers loves to customize, experience, equipment so it seems as if two different strategies will apply to the same industry.
