Each month, this club for 5- to 10-year-old students held at the Akron Fossils & Science Center works on a new unit of study. In the spring and summer months, the program is often held outdoors, so dress your child accordingly.
To join, just show up for class and sign up for the rest of the month.

Warning! this "science" center is a creationist center, twisting science to fit the creationist world view. The nice people running the place, and their experts deny the science of natural selection and their education programs are tailored to fit with their religious beliefs. Science and religion are two very different things, and to subject children to creationism, presenting it as fact and science, is to do these kids a great disservice.
