Here we are, turning the corner on Summer Solstice, and what better way to celebrate than with a poetry reading? Our Third Thursday reading at The Root Cafe this next Thursday will feature Steve Brightman, Kent poet, followed by an open mic. Mark your calendars for a great evening of spoken poetry and friendship in cozy comfort at The Root Cafe in Cuyahoga Falls. Bring a poem to share or just a pair of good listening ears. The Root Cafe is a community-focused coffeehouse that offers a palette of free events intended to be mentally stimulating. The coffeehouse also offers a variety of beverages, pastries and quick foods. Its beverages include sparkling drinks, coffees, teas and chocolate. The beverage selection also features blended drinks such as espresso based hot drinks and frappes, fruit smoothies, unique blends of brewed teas and hot or cold options of chocolate drinks. The cafe includes a small entertainment area for children that are accompanied by adults and free WiFi is also available to patrons.
