You Said It: What Plans Do You Have for the Rapture?

Certain believers say Rapture will happen on Saturday.

Apparently not many folks are taking Harold Camping's prediction that a biblical Rapture will touch off the end of times this Saturday at exactly 6 p.m. very seriously.

Forecasting the future has been tricky business since Nostradamus plied his trade back in the 16th century.

Folks are planning "looting parties"  (Not real ones, we trust) when the good people are whisked away to heaven, leaving the rest of us heathens to fight it out, or something like that.

Two popular songs come to mind when the subjects of the Rapture and the end of times come up: Blondie's Rapture, an early hip-hop rock crossover song, and R.E.M.'s  It's The End of the World as We Know It. And let's not forget Prince's1999.
