Williams-Sonoma Closing Summit Mall Store Jan. 20

The kitchen supply store has two other locations in Northeast Ohio.

A sign posted outside Summit Mall's Williams-Sonoma store says its last day of business is Jan. 20.

The sign reads "We apologize for any inconvenience and invite you to visit or call us at our nearby locations."

Williams-Sonoma has stores at La Place in Beachwood and South Park Mall in Strongsville.

A mall spokesperson did not return correspondence Thursday as to why the store is closing.

Did you shop at Williams-Sonoma often? Are you disappointed it's closing?

Sad for those who are losing their employment, first of all. As for me, I always frequented the store whenever I was in the area. Very fine, reliable products. I am not happy w/this decision!

Me either! I'm not happy. It is in a great location. Unless they are going to open up elsewhere in Montrose, it will be an inconvenience not having it here.

Very disappointed in the closing .Always enjoyed shoping there. The other locations are too far away for a quick, pop in visit.

Wow! This was one of the main reasons I ever went to the mall.

Poor decision...so many good stores end up leaving...oh well, I guess I will have to shop at LaPlace in Beachwood, actually closer to me in Sagamore Hills.
