Please don't let Obama sweep Benghazi under the rug...
Lets not forget those four who were left to be slaughtered in Benghazi... Do not reward Obama for this epic failure…

And never forget that President Obama brought our wonderful soldiers home from Iraq, a senseless Republican war which killed and maimed thousands even after no weapons of mass destruction were found, and he killed Osama bin Laden saving future American lives.

I saw Obama yesterday claiming the new job numbers are proof that his policies are working and that we are in an economic recovery... Fact is, that is not the truth, or even close to the truth...
First, the unemployment rate ticked up to 7.9% and the year-to-date monthly average of 157,000 payroll jobs is barely enough to keep up with population growth -- much less make up for the 8 million jobs lost during the Great Recession.
Second, the so-called real unemployment rate (U6) remains elevated at 14.6%, albeit down from 14.7% the prior month. Similarly, the labor participation rate is at 63.8%, up from its multi-decade low but still incredibly weak.
Third, average hourly earnings fell a penny in October and average hours worked fell to 34.4 from 34.5 in September.
Stagnant wages means "we're not generating income," Reinhart says. "That's a problem in terms of the durability of an economic expansion, which is usually fueled by consumption. To get consumption you've got to generate income."
Also, just look at your checkbook. We are paying a lot more for everything now than we did in 2008. The price of gas has doubled. At the same time, wages have gone down, and that's if you're lucky to have a job.
In 2008, 25 banks went out of business. In 2012, 48 banks have gone out of business. Almost double the amount. Does that sound like recovery to you? Don't believe the Obama lies!!

Obama up in Ohio and other swing states in early voting:

http://news.yahoo.com/obama-seems-early-vote-lead-key-states-204705391--election.html

But I have to wonder what any Romney voters are thinking. Who knows Romney better than anybody? How about the state who actually voted him in before, as Governor. So let's take a moment to look at how the only state who has any working knowledge about how Romney governs, is voting...

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2012/president/ma/massachusetts_romney_vs_obama-1804.html

The average of all polls, whether you believe some to be conservative or liberal leaning, still gives Obama a 20+ point lead. So my question is, why aren't more people paying attention to this? You can't shrug it off that it is MA and they always lean this way, because they voted Romney himself in as a Republican. The reality is that Romney can't even get close in this election in the only state that he has governed before, where the people actually know what you get if you vote for Romney. If he was the success that he pretends to be in MA, don't you think that he would be leading in MA or at the very least, have a close race going on there?

My question is will the democratic big government lemmings leap off the cliff if Romney wins....I can only assume that everyone will just have to figure it out and continue to believe whatever they need to believe. If you believe that big government is the correct path I suggest you look east to Europe and look into their problems...mostly arising from more and more government intrusion into the lives of everyday people. I believe Abraham Lincoln said....That government which governs best, governs least....I am certain the he was correct.

Have you looked at Switzerland, Denmark, or Sweden? They pay big taxes but the people receive big returns on their tax dollars -- from free government guaranteed day care, healthcare, retirement income, and retirement housing. These are highly successful, wealthy, socialized democracies. They will not lose their healthcare or retirements if the company they work for is sold out from underneath them by a company like Romney's Bain Capital. Americans are being frightened by the word "Socialism" but don't look into democracies which incorporate some "socialist" ideas. Think of the stress off your life if you didn't have to worry about finding and paying for daycare, the cost of healthcare, or if Social Security is going to be there for you, or even a place to live when you are old.

October Jobs report
with the unemployment rate ticking up to 7.9 percent but the economy adding a better-than-expected 171,000 jobs.

At the same time, the number of unemployed grew by 170,000, roughly the same amount -- to 12.3 million. .......................really +1,000 jobs gained thats 20 jobs per state or 1 new job for every 4 counties in ohio

There are two more candidates on the ballot for the Presidency, Gov. Gary Johnson (Libertarian) and Dr. Jill Stein (Green).

Make a special note to remember to watch the Free and Equal Election Debate between third party candidates, Gov. Gary Johnson and Dr. Jill Stein to be aired tonight on Monday evening, Nov. 5th from 9:00 - 10:30 pm Eastern Time. Perform a worthwhile civic duty, and be certain to listen in on this historic debate so that you can make an informed decision on voting day. Third party candidates who will be on the ballot in most states deserve to be heard.

"Mark my words, if and when these preachers get control of the (REPUBLICIAN) party, and they're sure trying to do so, it's going to be a terrible damn problem. Frankly, these people frighten me. Politics and governing demand compromise. But these Christians believe they are acting in name of GOD, so theycan't and won't compromis. I know, I've tried to deal with them

Dan - so true. Democrats keep government out of your life and let you choose your moral stance on birth control, abortion, and gay marriage. Under Democrats, Christians have the right to make their moral choices for themselves and so do the rest of us. But a Republican right wing "Christian" government would take away those rights from us and put government in our lives telling us what we can't do in the name of religion. Separation of church and state is essential.

You guys in my home town of Mentor should be ashamed. Mentor is not better off than 4 years ago.. Ohio isn't better off than 4 years ago.. and this country isn't better off than 4 years ago. You people that are voting for Obama are looking for a budget to increase to 21 trillion in 4 years.. Unemployement the same of worse, another 14 million on food stamps... lower incomes.. housing market staying weak, cuts to our military, nasa.. I can go on and on. Mentor is a independent town, if anything republican since 1980. Get out in the real world and see what's going on.

Scott, unfortunately, some people would rather predict gloom under a Romney Presidency than accept what Obama is doing to this nation.

Most Obama voters couldn't pour piss out of a boot if the instructions were on the heel.

People are voting obama only cause they hate republicans. Romney has shown he is willing to reach to the other side to get this country moving.. this isn't George Bush... Romney is a totally different guy... I'm independent but going with Romney cause of the record he has. You only get 4 more years if everything is going great.. and it's not obviously.

People are voting for Obama because they don't like Republican policies. Not liking Republicans just comes with today's partisan politics. Don't expect me to like Mitch McConnell et al when they just get in the way of anything the president tries to accomplish.
Four years ago, we were all worried that the banks were going to fail and our auto industry was going to disappear. The economy was already a disaster when Bush handed Obama the keys. To say that things haven't improved demonstrates a short memory.

Republican Senator Lindsey Graham (South Carolina) commenting today on a potential Romney loss "If I hear anyone say that it was because Romney wasn't conservative enough I'm going to go nuts" & We're not losing 95% of African-Americans & two-thirds of Hispanics & voters under 30 because we're not hard-ass enough" !!! My suggestion to Romney supporters & the rest of the clueless Republican cretins is to get a manicure on your way home from casting your vote, because the finger pointing will start early Wednesday morning & you'll want to look nice ! Really Summer...so you like all that Obama spending? You like that

1. He added the 5 Trillion more to our National Debt when he said he was going to cut it in 1/2 in 2008?

2 Our unemployment is slightly higher than 2008 when he took office but he said it would be around 5.4% or 9 million more jobs by 2012?

3 Our homes lost 40% of it's value since he took office?

4 Our incomes are down by $4,000 compared to 2008?

5 Our health insurance is up $3,000 since 2008?

6. He added 14 million to food stamps but said he would decrease it by 4 million in 2008?

7. He made cuts to our Military?

8. He made cuts to our Space Program?

9. He borrowed more $$$ from China than any other president?

10. He did Obamacare where you can't pick your own health insurance?

11. He neglected Isreal... but went to every Middle east Country during his 4 years and speaking of Isreal.. do you know Isreal won't wait till 2016 for another election.. they will launch their attack vs Iran in the next few months if Obama wins.. and that will drag us into the war.. along with Russia.. (Irans close ally).. at least Romney wants tougher sanctions to make Isreal happy.
I can go on and on.. Obama regulated the killing of Horses for Meat? sheesh... Seriously... There is no reason to vote for Obama.. Romney isn't Bush.. he cares about this country... The Choice is Clear to vote Romney.. he gets 4 years to do it everyone.. and if he don't get it done in 4 years.. we pick someone else!

I LOVE all of that Obama spending. That's exactly what the government is supposed to do when consumer demand drops - countercyclical spending. The "national debt" is a misnomer anyway - it's not debt. A country with a fiat currency (like ours) never has to borrow its own currency. Basing our fiscal policy on the misconception that the dollars we create must somehow be "paid back" is incredibly wrongheaded.

scott bricker

12:11 am on Tuesday, November 6, 2012

OMG John.. are you a communist or something? How much spending do you want? You want our debt to get to 25 Trillion.. 50 Trillion? What's going to happen when China wants repayment? We going to say... "Hey Take Taiwan"? Is that your solution?
BTW Why isn't Obama back in NJ,NY,Conn,Penn trying to get relief to the people there.. they are all upset that he isn't doing HIS JOB... His Job is 1st.. not his Campaign.. People are without Food, Gas, Heat, and temps are around 29 deg there. Go sleep in your garage for tonight to see how it feels, Obama.. he only cares about himself and not the people.. look at Libya.

"When China wants repayment?" Scott, you obviously have no clue how government bonds and money creation work. You might want to read up on how this stuff works before you vote for a guy who thinks it's a good idea to lower aggregate demand (i.e. lower the deficit) when the economy is already struggling.

When "China wants repayment" (I guess you are referring to selling the U.S. bonds they have bought with U.S. dollars?) we will happily redeem them. If you understood how it all works, you would know that they are free to hold their earnings as dollars if they wish - they choose to buy bonds for a safe place to park their dollars, just like other bondholders do. If China stopped buying bonds tomorrow, it would have no effect on our economy whatsoever. But worry about it if you like.

Now if anybody tries to tell you that Romney is not lying to you to sneak his way into office, there is your proof.

I can't break it down any more simply for people. Romney is a deceptive used car sales man. He will tell you whatever he thinks will get him what he wants. He tells the base that he is a extreme conservative and makes all the promises that the fringe extreme wants and then turns to the voters and says that he is a bi-partisan. These are not mutually inclusive positions. He is lying to somebody. Are you ready to risk if he might be lying to you?
