An 18-year-old Akron woman walked into Walmart on April 3 and began punching a Walmart associate in the face, according to Fairlawn police.

The 19-year-old victim told police that the woman asked her if she wanted to fight and began punching her face, which knocked her to the ground. The woman then grabbed the victim by her hair and started slamming her head on the ground.

Police said the two women had prior conflicts over an ex-boyfriend. An warrant was issued for the 18-year-old's arrest, but she turned herself in to police the next day and was released with a court summons.
