VIDEO: President Obama Arrives at the DoubleTree Hotel for the Night
Did you take any photos of Obama's arrival? Share them here!
This is the first time President Barack Obama has had an overnight stay in the city of Fairlawn, said Deputy Service Director Ernie Staten.
He arrived at the DoubleTree Hotel around 10 p.m. Thursday night after speaking in Parma.
Hundreds of people lined the street to catch a glimpse of the president, but he didn't come to speak, and actually, he didn't even come out to wave.
Check out the video above (sorry, it's kind of hard to see) and be sure to add any photos you may have taken Thursday night! We want to see your POTUS pics. Just click the "Upload Photos and Video" button. Video is welcome too!
NOTE: West Market Street will remain blocked from Smith Road to Ghent Road until the president leaves in the morning. The detour is Smith to Ghent around Summit Mall.

Unfortunately, far more of the area is not accessible, even for those needing to be at work. My daughter is a nurse and she was told she was not allowed to enter the parking lot of the building of the doctor's office where she works. First patient is may not even be allowed in. I understand the need for security, but this really is a bit much.

(please remove the "is" from my second to last sentence. I thought I would have a chance to preview what I had typed. Thank you. Denise)
