Two Old Navy Shoplifters Also Had Stolen Items from Mall

Information provided by the Bath Township Police Department.

Old Navy security called the Bath Township Police Department about two women possibly shoplifting in the store on Aug. 24, according to a report.

The women left the store before security saw if they stole anything and Bath police caught up with them on West Market Street a little while later, the report said.

The women, both from Akron, admitted to stealing from Old Navy, but officers also found stolen merchandise from Bath & Body Works and the Express store in Summit Mall, the report said. The stolen merchandise totaled $393.64.

The women also had wire cutters and two booster bags, which stop security alarms from going off. Police charged the women with theft, receiving stolen property and criminal tools.
