Two Copley High School sophomores were reported Friday morning for making threats to blow up the school marching band on Facebook, according to Copley police Chief Michael Mier. The students were reported by fellow classmates.
The high school administration acted quickly and brought the students into the office for questioning, said Superintendent Brian Poe. The students are and will remain safe, Poe said.
"We take situations like this very, very seriously," Poe said. "The staff did a terrific job and I can't say how thankful I am that students reported this."
There will be extra security at tonight's football game against Orrville, but Poe and Mier don't expect anything will happen.

As a marching member myself, this truly scares me to think that anyone would take this kind of action. Glad everything is under control. Let's hope this is the end of any bomb plots at Copley or Revere, etc.
