Teen Victim in Sunday's Crash Identified, is in Serious Condition

Information provided by the Bath Township Police Department and Akron General Hospital.

UPDATE: The 18-year-old Revere High graduate involved in Sunday morning's rollover accident has been identified as Michael Grajzl, according to Bath Township dispatchers.

A nursing supervisor at Akron General Hospital in downtown Akron has listed him in serious condition.

Some time around 2 a.m. Sunday morning, Grajzl, of Granger Township, flipped and rolled his car at the intersection of Colony Hills Drive and North Hametown Road, said Bath Police Chief Michael McNeely.

It appears the car flipped and rolled several times before landing back on the wheels, McNeely said. He was unsure how the accident occurred. The crash was handled by Ohio Highway Patrol and more information was not available Monday as Columbus offices are closed in observance of Veterans Day.

Officers got a call from a parent who thought their child was supposed to be with the teen, and after a search, no other passenger was found.

McNeely described the pictures he saw of the accident as "horrific" and the car was destroyed.
