Series: Meet the Six Applicants for Bath Township Administrator

The Bath Township Trustees narrowed the field down to six applicants and we asked them all the same five questions.

In June, Bath Township Administrator Bill Snow announced he was retiring to protect his pension because of changes in Ohio Public Employee's Pension plan happening at the state level.

Snow said he wasn't necessarily ready to retire, but had no choice. He then asked the trustees to consider rehiring him.

Snow's retirement date was set for Aug. 31, and trustees began searching for the next administrator. Trustees rehired Snow on Aug. 10 for an interim period so he could help transition the new administrator. He will be with the township until March 31, 2013, unless he is fully rehired.

So now the search has been narrowed to six applicants. Fairlawn-Bath Patch asked each applicant the same five questions so you could get to know more about them.

They are Bill Snow, Township Fiscal Officer Sharon Troike, Township police officer Vito Sinopoli, Kevin Brooks, Douglas Burchard and Robert Genet.

Check back with Patch each day to learn more about each applicant. If you have questions for one of them, leave it in the comments and we'll do our best to get it answered.

Note: The applicants are not running campaigns. The trustees will appoint the new township administrator.
