Minutemen senior forward Larry Nance Jr. leads way with 21 points.
Revere senior forward Larry Nance Jr. scored 21 points and senior guard D.J. Bettinger added 12 to lead the host Minutemen past the Copley Indians, 70-53 Tuesday night.
The game, rescheduled from Dec. 14, saw Revere (5-1) jump out to an early 10-point lead after the first quarter. The Indians (5-3), behind the play of Jordan Burke, Alex Kormushoff, Jaylin Tyler and C.J. Chatman, cut the lead in half by halftime, 30-25. But the Minutemen scored 40 second-half points to seal their fifth win of the season.
In addition to Nance and Bettinger, Revere had solid efforts from its other seniors--Eric Smith (10 points), Connor Edel (nine) and Ryan Wonders (seven). Junior guard Mark Mockbee added nine points in the 17-point win.
Tyler and Kormushoff lead the Indians with 10 points each. Both Copley and Revere play this Friday--with the Indians traveling to Highland and the Minutemen playing host to Tallmadge.
