Painesville Man Steals 28 DVDs from Giant Eagle
Information provided by the Fairlawn Police Department.
Giant Eagle security spotted a 26-year-old Painesville man hanging out in the DVD section on Feb. 25, according to Fairlawn police.
The man managed to stuff 28 DVDs into a bag before running from the store, totaling $576. Police were able to catch him outside and recover the stolen media.
The man was released from the scene with a court summons.
