On Sept. 13, a known shoplifter was seen walking into Walmart by store security, according to a Fairlawn police report.
The man went into the electronics department, grabbed a set of speakers and headed to the men's department. Once there, he unwrapped the speakers and concealed them.
Next he grabbed an HP computer and threw it over the fence in the lawn and garden section, the report said. He went back into the store, grabbed two surveillance systems and set them down in the lawn and garden section.
The report said the man pulled up his car and loaded the computer. Then he walked back into the store and threw the surveillance systems over the fence, climbed over, loaded his car and drove away.
The man got away with $1,305 in merchandise, the report said.
