Man Stuffs Macy's Polos in Pants, Leaves Store
Information provided by the Fairlawn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
A 35-year-old Akron man, who had previously been banned from Macy's, was seen walking around the store on Jan. 24, according to Fairlawn police.
The man took two polos off a rack and stuffed them in his pants before running out of the store, police said. He made it through the parking lot but was stopped by store security.
The two shirts were valued at $179, and police also found a glass pipe on him. He was previously arrested at Macy's on Christmas, and signed an agreement saying he wouldn't return.
Because he returned, police charged the man with theft, criminal trespass and drug paraphernalia possession. He is banned from Macy's indefinitely, police said.
