An Olmsted Township woman was standing near the road in front of Acme Fresh Market when a man pulled up to talk to her, according to a Bath Township police report.
The man offered the woman $500 to get in his car, but she refused. He asked the woman several more times to get in his car before driving away, the report stated.
The man was driving a silver Jeep Cherokee with Michigan plates. He was white, in his late 30s with thin brown hair and a fish hook-looking scar on his face, the report stated. He was wearing a black jacket.
The woman was not injured.

If that man KNEW the woman would more than likely be a concealed carry permit owner, he would have kept driving. If he KNEW she wasn't - with absolute certainty, because of restrictions on carrying, he would have KNOWN he could over power her. We aren't in a good postiion these days to not be able to defend ourselves. With crime escalating, this isn't the time to try and disarm law abiding citizens
