Man Flees Police at Dillard's, Found Hiding in Pickup Truck Bed
Information provided the Fairlawn Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.
On Feb. 7, a 20-year-old Akron man grabbed a hooded sweatshirt off a Dillard's rack, put it on and attempted to leave the store, Fairlawn police said.
A security guard stopped the man outside the store, the man pushed him and ran off through the parking lot.
The suspect was later found hiding in the bed of a truck at Chase Bank, police said. The sweatshirt was valued at $55.
