Barack Obama won the national vote and he won in Ohio.
He also won in Fairlawn, according to unofficial vote totals from the Summit County Board of Elections. However, Bath Township voters turned out for Mitt Romney.
While Summit County is a Democratic stronghold, Republicans needed to perform well in the suburbs to shave off votes from the president's total.
However, Romney's votes in Fairlawn and Bath were not enough to help him.
