Fugitive Hiding Out in Wadsworth Caught by Bath Police

Information provided by the Bath Township Police Department.

On Nov. 5, Bath Township police officers arrested a fugitive wanted on a felony warrant by Colorado police, said Chief Michael McNeely.

Felon Justin T. Duzyk, 31, is originally from Bath Township and came back here after living in Mesa County, CO, for a short period, McNeely said. Officers looked for him in the 4300 block of Granger Road, but it turns out he was hiding out in Wadsworth.

Duzyk was found in the 700 block of Leatherman Drive and arrested, McNeely said. He's being held at the Wadsworth Police Department for Colorado authorities.

Duzyk was wanted for a felony count of vehicular eluding, but he has an extensive criminal history in Colorado including possession of dangerous drugs, cruelty toward children, obstructing telephone service, simple assault, obstructing police, resisting arrest and reckless endangerment, McNeely said.

Obstructing telephone service is breaking a cell phone in CO. Just for the record, he does have an extensive background, but half of these charges listed are incorrect.
