With over four decades of professional business experience, I bring a precise knowledge of the community, its diversity and responsibilities to charitable and civic organizations. My extensive experience and community involvement in both the for profit and not-for-profit worlds makes me an excellent candidate for re-election to Summit County Council, District 4. As former Vice President of S.A. Comunale Co., I was in charge of sales and service for 15 years; responsible for over 100 staff persons and annual gross revenue of 10 million dollars.
I have leadership expertise in a wide range of Summit County non-profits. Most significantly, I was President of Summit County Library whose annual budget reached 29 million dollars that year and President of Tow Path Credit Union with a budget of 60 million dollars. As council member, I work continuously to regionalize services and to provide the greatest number of services to citizens in an extremely challenging economic climate. I work diligently with elected officials, through the budget process, ensuring that regionalism is a priority. I constantly look for best practices to favorably affect revenue streams and relentlessly watch all Summit County expenditures.
