Thinking of taking the family out to dinner? Have young kids? You're going to want to know if the restaurant is family-friendly, right?

This is the place where they have crayons and coloring books for impatient diners ... where the wait staff gives you extra napkins — unasked ... where there's no gasps when glasses invariably get knocked over or food falls on the floor. Where they have high chairs, booster seats and budget-conscious prices.

Beginning today — March 19 — and through 5 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, we'll be asking for your recommendations of the best places to take the family out to eat. I'm thinking maybe Chick-Fil-A, Friendly's or Steak 'n Shake?

We'll select a winner at 5 p.m. Friday, March 23 and announce it in a story on Saturday, March 24.
