Fairlawn Police Blotter: A Pizza Party Gone Wrong and More

The following arrest information was supplied by the Fairlawn Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Outstanding warrant

Police were called to Chuck E Cheese’s at 9:45 Sept 30 to quiet a group of 15  rowdy, swearing juveniles who refused to leave the restaurant. Keithon L Poole, 31,  of Rosamond Ave. Akron, the only adult in the group, was arrested on a warrant from Akron Police for Domestic violence and menacing. He was taken from the restaurant and turned in to the APD.

Theft

An Akron woman told Police she noticed that a bronze vase had been taken from a mausoleum next to her mother's grave at Rose Hill Burial Park. The vase was reported stolen 9/20, but might have gone missing sometime between may and the end of August.

Misuse of a credit card

Police are investigating  an illegal use of a credit card. Joseph J. Mudra, 49, of Lennox Village in Fairlawn told police he discovered someone had charged a laser scope valued at $359.47 on his Dollar Bank Mastercard. The charge was discovered Sept. 30 when Mudra was examining his bill on-line.

The purchase was canceled by the bank before it could be shipped to an address in Dayton, OH.
