Cuyahoga Falls Men Caught Stealing Also Had Heroin Tools

Information provided by the Fairlawn Police Department.

Dillard's security saw two men walk into the store, grab three polo shirts from a rack and leave the store without paying, according to a Fairlawn Police report.

The shirts were valued at $83.99 total.

When police arrived, the men had already left, but were soon found camping out in the Macy's parking lot, the report said. The men, 24 and 28, both admitted to being in Dillard's and admitted stealing the shirts.

When police searched the car, they found the shirts, but they also found four syringes, two cotton swabs and a metal spoon — all instruments used to inject heroin, the report said.

Police cited one man for possession of drug tools and drug paraphernalia, and a traffic citation for expired plates. The other man was cited with theft, possession of drug tools and drug paraphernalia.
