Today will be a hot one.
The National Weather Service has issued an excessive heat warning for most of Ohio, Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky.
The warning is in effect between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. today, as heat index values could be as high as 110 degrees in Northeast Ohio.
How are you beating the heat today? Show us by uploading a photo or video above, or give us your best tips in the comments!
We could also see some severe thunderstorms this afternoon and into the evening. Tomorrow and into the work week will be cooler, with highs in the low 80s and upper 70s through Wednesday.
You should stay out of the sun today, and strenuous activities should be reserved for this evening or tomorrow morning.
Wear loose, cool clothing and drink plenty of water, and check on your elderly family and neighbors.

Denison Pool was destroyed a few months ago; it was 1 of the 2 public pools in the city of Cleveland Heights-. Ed Kelley refused to have a public meeting about it and Susan O'Neil--who has been in charge of the parks for 30 years refused to reconsider the decision. Heights Community Congress was asked to help save it and did nothing. No City Council member did anything to help citizens save the pool. This is our community's leadership?

Fran, the former Denison pool is being converted to Green Space. Really Fran, why are you so opposed to preserving green space? First, you brought Walmart to Oakwood with your rants and raves, now you want to reduce green space for residents at Denison!
