Bath Township Police Arrest Woman Accused of Scheming to Get Drugs
Woman faces charges in Bath and warrants from Cleveland suburbs.
A Cleveland woman was arrested in Bath Township for allegedly obtaining prescription drugs by inappropriate means.
Victoria M. Jones, 21, of E. 114th St., Cleveland, was charged with one count of deception to obtain dangerous drugs, a fourth-degree felony.
According to Bath Police Chief Michael McNeely, additional charges will be presented to a Summit County Grand Jury. "The additional four offenses stem from Jones' activity at Target, Walmart and the two Giant Eagles in Fairlawn," McNeely said.
Jones was arrested at Acme in Bath Township, police said, after presenting a forged prescription.
Each incident occurred on June 24.
Police said Jones had outstanding warrants from police departments in Parma and Shaker Heights, plus the Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Office.
On Tuesday, Jones remained in the Summit County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
