Benjamin Black and Nick Seeman were both selected to be a part of the Ashland University Choir.

The highly selective choir requires students to audition and only accepts 66 singers. Directed by Dr. Rowland Blackley, professor of music at the university, the choir regularly performs with the Ashland Symphony Orchestra. 

Benjamin Black of Akron is majoring in theatre. The son of Bryon and Reba Black of Akron, Black is a 2010 graduate of Firestone High School.

Nick Seemann of Akron is also majoring in theatre. The son of Gaylord and Lori Seemann of Akron, Seemann is a 2011 graduate of Revere High School.
