SENIOR SOFTBALL LEAGUE REGISTRATION

The Silver League senior softball organization is now accepting player registrations for the 2013 season. Players 45 and older from Summit, Medina, Portage, Stark, Mahoning, Cuyahoga, Ashland, Wayne, Holmes and Tuscarawas counties may participate in the organization's five divisions based on age.

Games will be played Monday and Wednesday at the Barberton Sports Complex. There will be two morning divisions – GOLD for ages 60-70 and BLUE 71 plus. Their games are played Monday and Wednesday morning alternating 10:00 and 11:30.start times

The evening divisions RED 45-53 plays Monday DH starting at 7:30; WHITE 54-60 plays Wednesday DH starting at 7:30 and the SILVER 61 plus plays Monday and Wednesday at 6:00.

Deadline for early registration and a fee of $60 per League is March 5. After that date, cost is $85. The fees cover a schedule of approximately 25 games, a post season tournament, silver league hat and team jersey. There is also a year-end awards and recognition banquet.

This is the 26th year of operation for the League which had 450 players and 33 teams in 2012.
