Last school year, students in an after school knitting program at Herberich and Arrowhead Primaries learned to knit squares, which were then pieced together to make two blankets.  Today is the last day to purchase raffle tickets for these blankets.  Tickets are $1 for one or six for $5 and may be purchased at River City Gift Shoppe, 1265 S. Cleveland-Massillon Road.  All proceeds from the ticket sales will go to the Copley Share-A-Christmas program, and winners will have several options.  They may choose to pick up their prize, or they may donate their blanket to either Summit County Childrens' Services or Sandy Hook Elementary.  The drawing will be held tomorrow morning, the 17th, at 10:30, and winners will be notified by the end of the day.  Any ticket drawn that simply states "donate" will automatically have the blanket sent to Sandy Hook Elementary.
