I had the joy of getting to know Doris Clay over the past several months as the Adult Services Librarian, doing a once-a-month book discussion with the fine ladies there. I am glad that I had the pleasure of getting to know Doris, as she was always one of the liveliest contributors in the group, and one of the finest patrons and people I have gotten to know since coming to the Fairlawn Library in October. My sincerest condolences go out to the entire Clay family, especially the children and grandchildren!
